History of Ferrari
          Ferrari is an Italian company which has produced sport cars since 1947, but finds it origin back to 1929 when Enzo Ferrari formed the Scuderia Ferrari racing team.

          Enzo Anselmo Giuseppe Maria Ferrari was the man who founded the Ferrari Automobile company. He was born 18th February, 1898 in the central Italian town of Modena, Italy. He was the younger of two children to Alfredo Ferrari and Adalgisa Bisbini. In his earliest years, Ferrari had so much dislike for school but enjoyed target shooting and roller skating. Enzo grew up with little formal education. When he was ten (10) years old, his father took him to his first automotive race where he witnessed Felice Nazzaro's win at the "1908 Circuito di Bologna", an event that inspired him to become a racing driver. At same event, the fledgling automotive world hit his radar screen.

          In 1919, Enzo Ferrari started his own automotive career in Turin, Italy while working as a test driver. He later proceeded to Milan, where he tested cars and grew an interest in racing. In 1920, Ferrari became a race car driver for Alfa Romeo in Milan. Progressing, he obtained the position of Director of the Alfa Racing Division. Ferrari also established the Scuderia Ferrari (Ferrari Racing Stables) which included some of the best drivers of the period. The Scuderia later became secondary to Alfa Romeo. The highly successful 158 Alfa of 1937 was the first race car designed completely my Enzo Ferrari. After attaining fame through out the race world, Ferrari left Alfa Romeo in 1939 to manage his own car workshop in Maranello, Italy. Ferrari's race cars attained more fame as they won several reputable racing titles, including the 1948 race at Le Mans and the 1952 Grand Prix World Championship after World War II.

          The Ferrari brand is one of the most iconic family names to come out of Italy. Created in the 1950's by Enzo Ferrari, the first luxury racing car were manufactured in the city of Maranello. Enzo was a race car driver, his personal experience as a driver combined with his commitment to improve engineering which so revolutionized the luxury car industry. The city of Maranello now host thousands of visitors who test drive the infamous Ferrari cars and also visit the Ferrari Museum. While in the museum, visitors can enjoy a ride on one of the three Ferrari simulators and learn more about Ferrari history.
